Description: |
Erect, often tufted perennial herb, 30-80 cm. Stems 1-many, usually simple, occasionally branched, covered in greyish-white velvet. Leaves numerous along the stems, ovate to lanceolate or elliptic, up to c. 4 cm long greenish above, thinly velvety or almost hairless, densely silvery-grey velvety below, veining prominent; margin entire but wavy. Capitula in branched terminal heads, purple. |
