Description:	A lax bushy perennial or subshrub up to 2.5 m tall.
Notes:	It is not restricted to quartzite soils, occurring in evergreen forest margins and adjacent woodlands. The habitat is more open and possibly disturbed.
Derivation of specific name:	muelleri: named after Thomas (Tom) Müller (1932-), former curator of the National Botanic Garden, Harare, botanical collector and one of the leading experts in evergreen forest ecology in our region.
