Description:

Straggling or erect shrubby perennial herb, up to 1.5 m tall. Leaves more or less broadly ovate, softly hairy on both surfaces; margins crenate-serrate. Flowers in terminal racemes; corolla white with the lower lip not much larger than other lobes and the upper lobe slightly notched. |

Notes:

E. obtusifolius is superficially similar to Orthosiphon schimperi and often grows in similar habitats but Endostemon differs
in the 4-lobed corolla and the ± sessile stamens inserted about the middle of the corolla. |
