Description:
Shrub or small tree. Leaves trifoliate with lanceolate to oblong-elliptic leaflets, green above; pale yellow-green below; midrib prominent above with long spreading hairs; leaflet often blunt or notched at the apex; margins entire. Flowers very small, greenish-yellow, in loose axillary and terminal inflorescences. The fruits are small and thinly fleshy, red or yellowish-brown when ripe.
