Notes: | The recently found specimens appear to match well with U. scheffleri and have been provisionally assigned here but slight differences in leaf shape and the different habitat may yet prove this to be an undescribed taxon. |
Derivation of specific name: | scheffleri: After Georg Scheffler who collected in Kenya and Tanzania in the late 19th and early 20th Century. |
Habitat: | In coastal forest and scrub on old coral rag in Mozambique but elsewhere in evergreen thickets. |
