See here for general details. This form on the higher grassland plateaus of Mt Gorongosa is quite distinct. The flowers consistently are a different creamy yellowish colour, darker yellow on the lower tepals with purple-brown nectar guides. It was, however, confirmed to be G. crassifolius by Peter Goldblatt, one of the leading authorities on this genus. |
