This species may not occur in Mozambique. In FZ, two specimens are cited, namely;
GI: Torre 6761 (LISC)
M: Barbosa & Balsinhas 5455 (BM and LISC). However, Hilliard in The Manuleae refers Barbosa and Balsinhas 5455 to Manulea parviflora var. parviflora. There is no mention of Torre 6761 but that could also be referable to M. parviflora var. parviflora. M. crassifolia (including subsp. crassifolia and subsp.thodeana (Diels) Hilliard) is only recorded for S. Africa and Lesotho in Hilliard (1994) and not for Mozambique. |
