Description: |
Succulent perennial herb up to 30 3m high, suckering to form small clusters. Leaves weakly erect to spreading, grass-like, up to 25 cm long, green with whitish spots mainly near the base; margin with minute teeth. Inflorescence simple, erect, 20-30 cm high. Raceme c. 10 cm long, laxly flowered; bracts whitish, papery; pedicels 10-13 mm long. Flowers pendent, orange-scarlet, green-tipped, 20-25 mm long. Stamens and stigma not or scarcely exserted. |
