Description: |
A small tree, briefly deciduous. Bark rough with brick-red slash. Plants in the eastern parts of its range have densely pubescent young shoots. Leaves alternate, hairless, usually with a few teeth towards the apex. 1-3 short racemes in the leaf axils. Occasionally very floriferous with white flowers, dripping with nectar, before or after the rainy season. |
