Description: |
Suffrutex, to 2 m. Leaves without bacterial nodules but with domatia. Petiole 0.3-3 cm. Lamina variable, ovate, obovate, elliptic to circular; glabrous or pubescent above, paler and more pubescent beneath, often with a characteristic pattern of dark veins beneath on drying; apex usually obtuse. Inflorescence a terminal much-branched panicle. Flowers yellow, greenish-yellow or cream; lobes 1.7-2.5 mm long. Fruits didymous, ± subspherical, red. |
