Description: |
Shrubby climber. Stems up to 5 m, woody on the older parts, covered in long, whitish spreading hairs. Leaves elliptic to oblong-ovate, up to 11 × 4.5 cm, velvety above, more densely hairy below; apex with a mucronate tip. Flowers in dense axillary heads with densely white hairy bracts and peduncles. Corolla funnel-shaped, up to 3 cm long, bright blue with white hairs on the outside. Capsule globose-oblong, densely hairy. |
