Description: |
Monocarpic herb. Single leaf up to 30 × 15 cm at time of flowering, covered in stiff hairs on both surfaces. Up to 4 inflorescences arise from the base of the leaf, many-flowered. Corolla pale mauve with two yellow lines in the corolla throat, flanked by dark purple markings. Plants flower once, fruit and die. |
