Description:
|
Shrub or small deciduous tree. Bark smooth, green, branched spine-tipped. Leaves imparipinnate with 4-8 pairs of leaflets and a terminal leaflet; leaflets oblong-elliptic, up to 5.5 cm long, usually with short hairs on the midrib and lateral veins; margin crenate-serrate. Flowers small, greenish-yellow in axillary branched, hairy sprays, appearing before or with the new leaves. Fruit spherical, c. 2 cm long, hairless; pseudo-aril very fleshy, cup-shaped. |
