Description: |
Small tree up to 6 m tall with a smooth, grey-green, papery bark. Leaves 3-foliolate or pinnate with 5 leaflets, hairless; leaflets oblong-lanceolate or oblanceolate, up to 7 cm long, terminal leaflet larger than the rest; margin serrate-crenate; petiole up to 5 cm. long. Flowers appearing with the leaves in axillary inflorescences up to 11 cm long; pedicels up to 2 mm long. Calyx bell-shaped, 1·5 mm long, lobed to at least half-way. Petals c. 4 mm long, cream. Fruit narrowly ovoid, c. 2·3 cm long, tapering to an acuminate apex, hairless; pseudaril with 4 winged arms. |
