Description:

Erect branching, aromatic herb up to 1.5 m tall; branches roughly hairy, winged at least when young with subentire to dentate wings c. 2 mm wide. Leaves narrowly oblong to elliptic-oblong up to 8.5 cm long, roughly hairy on both sides; base decurrent into the wings; margin wavy and toothed. Inflorescences terminal or axillary, cylindric, up to 4.5 cm long on winged, roughly hairy peduncles up to 5 cm long. Florets purplish. |
