Deciduous herb with annual leaves and inflorescence growing from a thick rhizome with fleshy roots. Leaves 7-11, linear, up to 37 cm long. Peduncle up to 76 cm long. Flowers bright to deep blue, c. 30 mm long; perianth obovate, 8-11 mm wide, inner segments wider than outer segments. |
