Description:
Creeping perennial with prostrate stems and ascending branches, usually less than 50 cm high. Leaves opposite, elliptic-oblong; margins entire. Flowers showy deep pink.
Notes:
Derivation of specific name: repens: creeping
Habitat: In coastal Miombo woodland and riverine forest, often in shade.
Altitude range: Up to 230 m

Worldwide distribution: Kenya, Tanzania, Mozambique and KwaZulu-Natal, South Africa.
