Description: |
Unarmed scrambling shrub, up to c. 2m tall. Leaves opposite, ovate, up to c. 5 × 2.5 cm, pale olive-green, velvety; petiole up to 10 mm long. Flowers mauve-blue, c. 4 cm in diameter, held between papery, ovate calyx lobes, pale yellowish-green, red-veined with spiny margins. |
