Description: |
Multi-trunked tree to 12 m tall; branchlets and young leaves green. Leaves petiolate: lamina ovate to triangular, usually longer than broad, mostly cordate at base with the sinus generally narrow and deep, palmately 5–9-nerved, lepidote beneath. Pedicels erect, mostly 1–5.5 cm long, articulated near or above the base. Bracteoles 3. Corolla yellow with a red spot at the base, densely lepidote outside. Capsule indehiscent, lepidote. Seeds with tapering hairs. |
