Description: |
Perennial herb. Stems hollow, prostrate or ascending, rooting at the nodes. Leaves opposite, (sub)sessile, up to 12 cm long, narrowly oblong, subhastate, subcordate at the base, minutely glandular-punctate; margin entire or serrate. Capitula axillary, solitary, sessile, up to 20 mm diameter. Involucral bracts 9-15 mm long, broadly ovate, many-nerved. Ray-florets c. 2.2 mm long, greenish-yellow with a very short, 3-dentate ligule, less than 1 mm long. Disc florets yellowish, c. 3 mm long. Achenes brown, narrowly oblong, 2.4 - 3.7 mm long, dotted with minute black or golden glands; pappus absent. |
