Description:

See var. panduratum for general description. This variety is clearly distinguished by the leaves, which are more or less ovate, narrowing into a distinct pseudo-petiole, up to 1.5 cm long, not auriculate (centre).

it often takes a long time for the capitula to open up, the involucral bracts enclosing the florets, giving the flower heads a whitish impression. |
