Perennial herb with erect or decumbent stems up to 60 cm long, growing from a woody rootstock. Leaves opposite, quite broadly ovate, 1-2.6 cm long, cordate at the base, finely pubescent. Flowers solitary or in pairs in the upper leaf axils, white to mauve, with or without a herringbone pattern on the lower lip. Capsule 7-9 mm long, finely pubescent. |
