Description: |
Decumbent or procumbent pyrophytic perennial herb. Leaves immature at flowering; lamina 1.5-5 cm long, oblong-elliptic or oblanceolate or rarely linear. Inflorescence of numerous cymules arranged in umbels aggregated into dense conical or cylindric heads. Cymule bracts with length to width ratio 1.2-1.5:1; larger bract 7-10.5 mm long, pale green with hyaline margin, sometimes with a pale ‘window’. Corolla 12.5-16 mm long, white or greenish-cream, with purple or blackish guidelines. Seeds smooth except for minute reticulation. |
