Sparsely branched shrubby perennial herb, up to c. 1.3 m tall. Stems mostly spineless, sometimes with small, short spines. Leaves opposite, ovate-elliptic, up to 10 × 4 cm. Flowers in dense terminal inflorescences with leaf-like overlapping bracts, glandular hairy. Corolla yellow to pale orange. |
