Description:	Erect annual herb up to 50 cm high, sometimes higher. Leaves 10-60 mm long, pinnatisect or rarely simple with up to 7 filiform segments, 2-30 mm long. Flowers solitary in the axils of bracts. Pedicels up to 20 mm long. Corolla white, cream, pale pink or pale blue; tube 25-35 mm long, straight or curved; lobes circular or spathulate, 6-9 mm long; corolla often persisting around the developing capsule. Capsule up to 15 mm long with an apical beak, winged along the sutures.
Notes:
Derivation of specific name:	fistulosa: hollow like a pipe but closed at both ends
Habitat:	On peaty soils overlying rock, in rock crevices in streams and rivers or in grassy swamps.
