Description: |
Perennial herb up to 1.2 m tall. Stems growing from a woody rootstock, ascending to erect, 4-angled, sparsely branched, densely covered in felt-like hairs. Leaves opposite or fascicled with younger leaves, erect or spreading, sessile, linear to narrowly elliptic-obovate, up to 65 × 7 mm, sometimes folded along the midrib, densely covered in felt-like hairs; margin entire to remotely toothed. Flowers in small, 8-10 mm wide heads, together forming corymbose panicles. Corolla pale pink, blue or purple, rarely white. |
