Description: |
Shrub or small tree. Leaves opposite, almost round, up to 2.5 × 2.3 cm, densely covered with silvery-grey appressed hairs on both surfaces, veining conspicuous below; margin finely toothed. Flowers in branched terminal heads, white striped or tinged pinkish, 2-lipped and 5-lobed, scented. Fruit of 4 small nutlets, enclosed in the papery remains of the calyx. |
