Description: |
Aromatic small shrub, up to 1.2 m tall. Stems woody below, often purple-reddish above. Leaves thick and fleshy, elliptic, 10-15 mm long, discolorous; margin crenate, rolled under, sparsely set with red sessile glands; petiole 1-3 mm long. Inflorescence lax with 2-6-flowered whorls, 5-10 mm apart; inflorescence branches and calyces purple-red. Calyx 3-4 mm long, pubescent with yellowish glands. Corolla 6-12 mm long, pink or white with pink lobes, upper and lower lip subequal, 2-4 mm long. |
