Description: |
Erect or decumbent annual or short-lived perennial herb, up to c. 40 cm. Leaves opposite, sessile or subsessile, oblanceolate-oblong, up to c. 5 × 1 cm, velvety; margin toothed in the upper half to almost entire. Flowers in many closely spaced axillary heads. Calyx up to 7 mm long at flowering time, very asymmetric at the mouth, 10-toothed. Corolla small, up to 6 mm long, white, 2 lipped; upper lip bristly hairy; lower lip 3 mm long, shallowly 2-lobed. |
