Description: |
Erect perennial with a simple or branched annual stem, up to 70 cm, growing from a tuber. Leaves variable but mostly filiform or linear up to 40-120 mm long and 1-2 mm wide, blue-green. Flowers axillary in clusters of 1-4. Corolla 10-17mm; lobes green, slender, twisted and united at the tips into a cage; margins with long, soft white hairs. Outer corona with 5 deeply 2-fid lobes; inner lobes spathulate longer than the anthers. |
