Perennial herb usually with a single branched stem, 7-30 cm high, growing from a discoid tuber up to 10 cm in diameter. Leaves sessile or shortly petiolate, linear to ovate, 5-20 mm long, pubescent above. Inflorescences axillary, 1-2-flowered, on pedicels 2-5 mm long. Sepals lanceolate, c. 1.5 mm long. Corolla 5-25 mm long with linear-subulate lobes, united at the tips forming a cage, white to reddish-brown. |
