Description:	Multi-stemmed, shrub-like perennial. Leaves linear, stiff. Flowers in axillary, pedunculate clusters, creamy-white. Corolla lobes fringed with long silvery hairs.
Notes:
Derivation of specific name:	laniflora: with woolly flowers
Habitat:	Along watercourses in hot, dry areas, often partly submerged when rivers are in flood.
