Description: |
Small deciduous tree, sometimes scrambling. Leaves opposite, rarely 3-whorled, narrowly elliptic, usually hairless but with minute silvery scales on both surfaces. Flowers in short, dense axillary spikes, creamy-white, flowering when the tree is leafless. Fruits 4-winged, 2-3.5 cm long, persitent on the tree. |
