Description: |
Annual herb with branches more or less erect when young but soon becoming prostrate. Branches with a line of curled hairs on one side. Leaves lanceolate to oblong, up to 5 × 1.5 cm, sparsely hairy, mainly on the margins and the veins below; margins crenate-serrate. Flowers in 1-3 flowered axillary clusters, yellow, c. 1 cm in diameter; sepals linear, pointed, as long as the petals. Fruit a 3-angled cylindric capsule, often curved, up to 2.5 cm long, the angles with small sharp teeth. |
