| Description: |
Vigorous climber. Tendrils present, leaf-opposed. All younger parts covered in soft rust-coloured hairs. Leaves 3-foliolate, dark green above, paler below with rusty hairs on the underside. In older leaves these may be confined to the veins only. The lateral leaflets distinctly asymmetric; margin with few distinct teeth. Flowers in small axillary heads, yellowish-green. Fruit fleshy, spherical, red to purple-black when ripe, edible. |
