Description: |
A more or less hairless sub-shrub, up to 1 m high. Leaves sessile, elliptic oblong, 1-4.5 cm long, bluntly rounded at the apex, cordate at the base, somewhat lellathery; margin entire somewhat rolled under. Flowers unisexual on different plants. Male flowers in axillarry several-flowered clusters, yellowish-green. Female flowers not seen. |
Notes: | Although specimens were known from almost exactly on the border between Mozambique and Zimbabwe, this species had not been officially recorded from Mozambique before the specimen in the images. |
