Description:
Small shrub, up to c. 70 cm tall. Leaves alternate, 1-foliolate, narrowly elliptic, 4-12.5 cm long, thinly textured, minute translucent gland-dots visible against the light; margin entire; petiole 3-10 mm long, grooved along the top. Flowers in short axillary heads, pale yellowish, unisexual.
Notes:
Derivation of specific name: drummondii: named after R. B. 'Bob' Drummond (1924-2008) , former Keeper of the National Herbarium in Harare (SRGH)
Habitat: In moist evergreen forest.
