Description:
Erect, sparsely branched annual herb, 15-60 cm high. Leaves mostly 6-12-foliolate, 5-25 mm long; leaflets, narrowly oblong-lanceolate, 5-13 mm long, often emarginate and mucronulate at the apex, hairless, with minute translucent dots. Stipules leaf-like, lanceolate, 4-18 mm long. Inflorescences terminal on lateral branches, 4-8-flowered. Standard creamy-white, often tinged dull orange-yellow inside and green-veined below; wings creamy-white with tips or upper margins orange-yellow; keel creamy white. Fruit of 1-2 articles, joined by a narrow neck, each c. 2.5 × 2.2 mm, minutely tuberculate.
Notes:
Derivation of specific name: minutiflora: with very small flowers
Habitat: In Brachystegia and mopane woodland, often in thin sandy soil over rock or in sandy river beds.
Altitude range: 500 - 1830 m

Worldwide distribution: Tanzania, Malawi, Mozambique, Zambia and Zimbabwe.
