Description: |
Annual or short-lived perennial herb, growing from a taproot. Stems branching from the base, spreading or ascending up to 80 cm high. Young stems appressed or spreading hairy. Leaves with 2-4(5) pairs of leaflets decreasing in size towards the base of the leaf, terminal ones 15-35 mm long, obovate-oblanceolate o sometimes elliptic, hairless above, greyish appressed hairy beneath; stipules linear, 5-8 mm long. Flowers solitary or paired in the leaf axils, pink to purple. Pod linear-oblong, 46-64 mm, curved upwards at the tip, loosely appressed or ascending hairy. Seeds 9-14. |
