Description: |
Bushy slightly woody herb or small shrub up to 0.5‒2 m tall, very densely covered with long fine spreading hairs. Leaves shortly petiolate, 3-foliolate; leaflets densely pilose on both surfaces; stipules 5‒8 mm long, linear. Racemes lax to dense, mostly 4‒12-flowered. Pod shortly and broadly cylindric, 2.5-3.2 cm long, densely shaggy hairy. |
Notes: | This species is generally similar toCrotalaria lachnophora. It has similar hairy stems and leaves and both species have similar broadly cylindric pods with a dense shaggy coat of hairs. This species has linear stipules 8-11 mm long while C. lachnophora has conspicuous leaf-like stipules, oblong-falcate up to 25 mm long. |
