Description: |
Perennial herb, growing from a strong taproot. Stems decumbent to spreading, up to 35 cm long, covered in both short appressed and longer spreading hairs. Leaves 3-foliolate; leaflets up to c. 4.7 × 1.2 cm, narrowly elliptic-lanceolate, sub-appressed hairy on both surfaces; petiole 6-10 mm long; stipules 4-11 mm long. Flowers yellow, sometimes with red-brown veining on the standard, solitary, leaf-opposed; peduncle 1.2-3 cm long. Calyx 1.6-2 cm long, covered with short and long hairs. Standard c. 2 cm long, elliptic-obovate, hairy on the outside. Pod c. 3.2 × 0.5 cm, oblong, pointed at the apex, densely velvety. |
