Description: |
Shrub up to 3 m tall with long arching branches, sometimes scrambling into the surrounding vegetation. Leaves pinnate with 4-5 pairs of obovate-elliptic leaflets, rounded at the apex, usually hairy; glands present on the rhachis between each pair of leaflets. Flowers golden-yellow, in axillary racemes, up to c. 10 cm long, often crowded towards the ends of branches. Pods cylindric and more or less inflated, straight or slightly curved, up to c. 20 cm long, brown. |

Notes: | Burrows et al. (2018) have no definite records for Mozambique for this species but it is indicated along the Lemombo Mts in Mozambique by Henderson (2001) and it occurs in South Africa along the Mozambique border and therefore probably grows there. |
