Description:
Small parasitic shrub with spreading stems. Branchlets slightly flattened, hairless, sometimes with short, spreading, glandular hairs at base of young shoots. Leaves reddish-brown to dark green, lanceolate to ovate-elliptic, acuminate, hairless. Flowers in umbels, 4-10-flowered. Corolla 1.5-2 cm, orange-yellow; lobes reflexed, linear. Stamen filaments green, partly fused with the corolla lobes. Berry obovoid.

Habitat: In evergreen forest and woodland, particularly in small patches of forest scrub in montane grassland.
