Description:
Epiphytic herb, normally pendent. Pendent stems usually bare, except for sheaths of old leaf bases and 3-6 fresh leaves at the apex. Leaves linear with 2 distinctly unequal lobes at the apex. Flowers along the stem in short clusters of 2-6(10), yellowish-green to straw-orange. Lip 3-lobed for about half the length.
Notes:
Derivation of specific name: inaequilonga: of unequal length, referring to the two unequal lobes at the leaf apex
Habitat: At high levels in trees of submontane and riverine forest, occasionally in high rainfall Brachystegia woodland.
