Leafless epiphytic herb. Roots numerous, mostly unbranched. Inflorescences 2-3, arching or pendent, up to 12 cm long, densely many-flowered. Flowers 4-5 mm across, white with a yellow anther cap in the centre. |

| Derivation of specific name: | stolzii: after Adolf Ferdinand Stolz (1871-1917), German missionary, merchant and plant collector in Angola and Malawi, particularly of orchids. |
