Description: |
Monopodial epiphyte or lithophyte. Stems normally erect with 6-16 leaves towards the apex. Leaves rather fleshy, stiff, held at an angle to the stem, unequally bi-lobed at the apex. Flowers singly (rarely 2) in the leaf axils, 4-5 cm in diameter, turning yellowish when fading, sweetly scented. Sepals and petals narrowly lanceolate. Dorsal sepal erect or recurved. Lip rhombic from a narrow base with a long pointed apex. Spur very slender, 2-3 cm, bent near the base. |
