Description: |
Similar to A. micans but differing by the following characters: culms 10–30 cm high; leaf laminas 1–3 cm × 3–7 mm; racemes 1–3, 0.5–2 cm long, not terete, greenish-yellow; internodes with hairs seldom over 0.5 mm long; pedicel present or absent; sessile spikelet 3–5 mm long; inferior glume flat on the back, linear, scaberulous; superior glume ± flat on the back, produced at the apex into a fine awn 0.5–1.5 mm long; awn of superior lemma 7–10 mm long; anthers 0.4–0.6 mm long; pedicelled spikelet lanceolate, 1.5–2 mm long or totally suppressed. |
