Description: |
Rhizomatous perennial. Culms 30–180 cm. high, thick, spongy, decumbent and rooting below. Panicle 4–30 cm. long, cylindrical. Spikelets dorsally compressed, 2.5–3.5 mm. long, plumply elliptic, light green, glabrous, obtuse to subacute. Inferior glume subrotund, c. 1/4 length of spikelet. |
