Description:
|
Erect shrubby herb up to 1.5 m tall. Leaves ovate to elliptic, 4.5-15 cm long, mostly hairless or finely velvety on the midrib; petiole up to 2.5 cm long. Inflorescence branched, terminal with branches spicate, more or less densely hairy. Bracts and bracteoles lanceolate-elliptic, 4-8 mm long, densely greyish hairy.Flowers greenish-white, salmon-pink or greyish-purple; upper lip strongly hooded; lower lip deflexed, white to yellowish with pink to purple markings, deeply 3-lobed with mid-lobe broadly triangular and side lobes strap-shaped. |
