Description: |
Evergreen shrub or small tree, all parts mostly hairless.Leaves alternate, 3-foliolate with leaflets sessile, narrowly elliptic, 5-12 cm long, densely dotted with translucent glands and lemon-scented when crushed; margin entire but often strongly wavy; petiole 1-7 cm long, slender, narrowly grooved without wings. Flowers in much-branched terminal heads, small, yellowish, functionally unisexual; petals and sepals 4. Fruit often slightly 4-lobed, c. 5 mm in diameter, gland-dotted, black when ripe. |
